I'd rather add a tab to the Quest log, with one section per book, and the entries filled and to fill.

Mith's idea sounds nice, but I don't see a point in it now since we wer given 5 more slots (unless you refuse to pay, which goes against what the majority of players who brought up this problem said they'd do).

Librarian should hold all the books per character as well as tomes.

I think a library would be a great idea. This idea made me think of the Great Library, one of the wonders of the ancient world. The potential of this idea is flat out neat!

I like the idea, but only cause i'd love to have a NPC. Play the game, once you have legendary guardian you get all books from the NPC, fill them with a couple of platinum (100g a page, cant be that much) and get the rewards. Also you just shouldnt go play all campaigns at once.

Any improvement would be great here as they take stupid amounts of inventory space.
Remember that the game already HAS a way to store the information about mission completion outside the books - you can fill the missing pages for 100g. Having them take

As the books are character specific, I don't see a reason why not to put all the data in the Quest Log in the form of one or a few new quests per book (if 1 quest entry can't hold as many as 18 variables).

Books could only be used in case someone wants to have duplicates of the same mission completions on the same char to keep them for the future. Other than that they're a waste of precious inv space and a poor design.

I would like to see all the books combined into one. Each book now would just become a new chapter, and each chapter in those now a section.
